STRANDS Offering Two Full Student Scholarships

In Celebration of MARCH “FASHION WEEK EL PASEO” 2014!
Whether you’re a salon professional or aspiring to be one, STRANDS always puts the emphasis on EDUCATION when it comes to stylists and students in the professional beauty industry!
As a Palm Desert, Calif.-based business and annual sponsor of the area’s fabulous 9th annual FASHION WEEK EL PASEO 2014, STRANDS is offering dream-come-true full scholarship opportunities to two local students. One person aspiring to become a professional hair stylist will be awarded a Full Cosmetology Scholarship and the other a Full Barber Scholarship to the respected International School of Beauty in Palm Desert. Scholarships will include school registration fee, books, kit and tuition.

Names of the two scholarship winners will be announced during FASHION WEEK EL PASEO on Sunday, March 16 during the “Style & Beauty Bash” from 9:00am – 3:00pm. It’s all being held under the Big White Tent on Larkspur Lane – between El Paseo and Shadow Mountain in Palm Desert (the heart of Palm Desert’s most celebrated shopping district of El Paseo). Palm Springs Life is the producer of the week-long event, from March 16-22, 2014.
